Smith’s 16 points helped UNICS to beat “Fraport Skyliners”

UNICS Kazan beat at home the German “Fraport Skyliners” in the Eurocup regular season match. Kazan from the first quarter outlined their claims to win, leading to the first break in the score with a difference of four points. In the second quarter, UNICS continued this trend, having won back two more points.

After the third quarter, it seemed that nothing would affect the outcome of the match – the teams went to the last break with a difference of 11 points. However, in the final game segment, the guests succeeded in a jerk, which nearly brought them victory. However, the advantage gained by Kazan players earlier was enough to keep the winning score. The final score of the game is 83:80.

The most productive player of the match in the host team was Jamar Smith, who scored 16 points.
