In Khimki, the VTB United League regular season match, in which Khimki basketball club hosted Astana, ended.
The team from Moscow Region confidently started the game and won the first quarter with a difference of seven points – 20:13. In the second ten minutes, the advantage of Kurtinaitis’ players became two-digit – 36:25. After a long break, Astana managed to add a little, and by the end of the third quater, the team from Kazakhstan again reduced the gap to seven points – 45:52. But in the final ten minutes of the match Khimki made a breakthrough and won with a comfortable score – 73:56.
Devin Booker became the best of the winners and made a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds.
