Antonov, Valiev, Karasev, Trushkin were summoned to the national team

On November 24 and 27 the Russian national team will host the starting matches of the 2019 World Cup qualification.

The head coach of the national team Sergey Bazarevich summoned 15 players, including Semen Antonov (CSKA), Evgeniy Valiev, Sergey Karasev (both “Zenit”), Vladislav Trushkin (UNICS), as well as guards Evgeniy Baburin (“Lokomotiv-Kuban”), Dmitriy Kulagin (“Lokomotiv-Kuban”), Mikhail Kulagin (CSKA), Ivan Ukhov (“Parma”), Vitaliy Fridzon (CSKA), Dmitry Khvostov (“Lokomotiv-Kuban”), forwards Pavel Antipov (“Lokomotiv- Kuban”), Nikita Balashov (“Pieno Zvaigzdes”, Lithuania), Andrei Zubkov (“Khimki”), Stanislav Ilnitsky (“Lokomotiv-Kuban”), the center Artem Klimenko (“Avtodor”).

The Russian men’s team will meet in the Novogorsk training base on November 20. After the training camp the national team will hold the first two World Cup-2019 qualifying matches: on 24th it will play against Bosnia in Sarajevo, from there she will immediately go to Nizhny Novgorod, where it will meet Belgium on November 27. The French team is also in the Group E.
