Casey Prather is a player of BC “Khimki”

American forward Casey Prather, who spent the last season in Australia and Greece, became a player of “Khimki”. The contract with the 27-year-old player is concluded on the “1 + 1” system.
Last season, Casey spent 23 matches in the Australian Championships (“Melbourne United”), an average of 16.7 points, and also making 6 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.4 steals in 28.2 minutes. In April 2018, Prather moved to the Greek club “Promiteas Patras”, where he scored 11.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1 steal in 20.2 minutes.

Georgios Bartsokas, head coach of BC “Khimki”:

“We were looking for a player who could play equally well in the positions of the easy forward and the shooting guard, and Prather is just such a basketball player. He has universalism, dimensions, athleticism and, what is very important, great motivation and desire to play at the highest level. He wants to become part of such a strong team as “Khimki”.

As with every player, we searched for information not only about the playing qualities of Prather, but also about his character, his personality, and all of his previous clubs said about him and his performance only good things. We signed an agreement with him, and are glad that we will have the opportunity to work together. At the moment, our efforts are aimed at building a team that would be stronger than last year.”
