Enisey guard Denis Zakharov has been named the VTB United League’s January Young Player of the Month.
The 22-year-old Russian played in three games last month (vs. UNICS, Krasny Oktyabr and VEF), establishing himself as a leader in Krasnoyarsk. Zakharov averaged 12.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and a 10.7 efficiency rating in January.
