Zenit announced the signing of a contract with power forward Will Thomas. Last season Thomas played for Valencia. As part of the Spanish club, he won the national championship, won the Super Cup of Spain and won the European Cup.
Last season Thomas scored 11.8 points, made 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists in 23.5 minutes on the court. In total, the forward played 16 games in the tournament and took the first place in the final series in terms of percentage of three-point (66.7%), total number of points (52) and minutes played (87). At the end of the final series Will Thomas received the title of MVP.
