The youth team of “Lokomotiv-Kuban” finished the performance in the “Final eight” of the VTB United Youth League. As a result, the players of Maxim Sharafan and Anton Kataev finished in fourth place – right after CSKA-2, “Khimki-2” and “Samara-2”. Last year, the “red-greens” became the fifth.
Forward of the youth team of “Lokomotiv-Kuban” Ilya Usoltsev entered the symbolic five of the “Final eight”. In three games of the “Final eight” Ilya scored 46 points in total, made 22 rebounds and distributed to partners 14 assists.
Sergei Balashov became the most effective player in the match against “Samara-2” in the team of Krasnodar. He scored half of all points of “Loko-2” – 37 points and 8 rebounds.
