Elena Kirillova in the Kursk “Dynamo” became the winner of the women’s Euroleague.
In the semifinal the blue and whites defeated the Czech “USK” in overtime (87:80), and in the final defeated the Turkish “Fenerbahce” (77:63) and for the first time in history became the winners of the tournament.
In the match for the third place held earlier on Sunday, UGMK of Evgeniya Belyakova was stronger than “USK” with a score of 68:63.
The “Final Four” of the women’s Euroleague was held in Russia for the sixth time. Three times the competition was held in Yekaterinburg. Last year, UGMK became the winner of the tournament.
