Born in Nizhnevartovsk, the captain of the BC “Nizhniy Novgorod”, the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in London Semen Antonov was recognized as “The Best Athlete in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra among the Olympic sports”. The ceremony “Sport Elite of KMAO” was hold on Saturday in the capital of Okrug. In Semen’s absence due to the tough training schedule the governor gave the award to the forwarder’s first coach Alexey Glukhih. Moreover, the special star, bearing the name of Semen Antonov, will take place on the “Walk of Fame” in Khanty-Mansiysk.
