Forward of Russian National Team and BC Nyzhniy Novgorod, Semen Antonov continues to take an active part in the life of specialized Center “Perspective”, patronized by the charitable fund “Center of philanthropy”. One of the main tasks for today is the equipping of the Center with the all the necessary materials for all-round development of its pupils.
– Besides the training game sets we have purchased specialized devices: color detector, different kinds of magnifiers and magnifying devices, Braille typewriter, and also several kinds of carpets for convenience and safety of the children during the study, soft chairs etc. All this equipment made the Center more cozy and useful for the children. Now they can learn, play and develop regardless the health damages. We would like to thank Semen Antonov, our fund’s goodwill ambassador, for his contribution in equipping the Center. Semen not only helps the children but also visits them, invites to the games and tries to attract all basketball fans’ attention to the problems of the handicapped children. It is very important, cause when an athlete takes a socially active stand other people tend to follow him. It makes our society more responsive, remarks Maria Ilyina, the director of the fund “Center of philanthropy”.
