In France, the match of the 16th round of the Euroleague regular season ended, in which ASVEL hosted Khimki.
The first quarter was an equal fight, which was reflected in the numbers on the scoreboard – 24:24. In the second ten minutes, the hosts managed to come forward – 50:45.
According to the results of the third game segment, it seemed that ASVEL removed the question of the winner – 74:57. But in the last ten minutes of the match, Khimki gave a powerful leap and reduced the gap to a minimum. Fifteen seconds before the final siren, Khimki lost only 1 point – 88:89, but in the end the hosts managed to keep the victory – 92:88.
The most productive in the Russian team was Janis Timma, who scored 20 points.
