The VTB United League match ended in Tallinn, where the local Kalev team hosted Khimki. The spectators saw a real fight on the court only in the first quarter, which the team from Moscow region won with a minimum advantage – 23:22.
In the second ten minutes, Kurtinaitis’s players added and took a long break, leading with a two-digit advantage – 43:33. In the third quarter, Khimki increased their lead to 13 points – 66:53, and in the final part of the game they defeated the team – 86:63.
Latvia’s forward Janis Timma, who scored 16 points, became the best of the winners.
