Khimki signed a contract with point guard Chris Kramer. The agreement is for one season with the option to extend it for another year.
Last season the American played in the Lithuanian Rytas. In 2010, the basketball player was in the Development League, and in 2011 he tried his hand at the Puerto Rico championship. He moved to Europe in 2012. For seven years Kramer defended the colors of three clubs. In addition to Rytas, Kramer played in the German Würzburg and Oldenburg. In the past, Khimki coach Rimas Kurtinaitis worked with Kramer at Rytas.
“I am very happy to be part of Khimki and to have the opportunity to play in the Euroleague, a tournament of the highest European level. I hope that together we will be able to achieve great success. It’s great that I will have a chance to work with Rimas Kurtinaitis again. I am grateful to him for his interest and invitation to the club,” said Kramer.
