Today in the training base “Novogorsk” the training camp of the women’s national team of Russia started/ In the first half of November it will be held the first two matches of the qualifying tournament Eurobasket-2019.
15 players took part in the first practice, including Ksenia Tikhonenko, as well as Elena Beglova, Evgenia Belyakova, Natalya Vieru, Victoria Zavyalova, Raisa Musina, Tatyana Petrushina (all UMMC, Ekaterinburg), Maria Vadeeva, Ksenia Levchenko, Anastasia Logunova (all – Dinamo, Kursk), Zhoselina Maiga, Maria Cherepanova (all – Nadezhda, Orenburg), Daria Kurilchuk (Sparta and K, Vidnoe), Anna Leshkovtseva (MBA, Moscow) and Ekaterina Ryabova (Dynamo, Moscow). Elizaveta Shabanova, who replaced Tatyana Vidmer from Dynamo Kursk arrived only this evening.
The Russian team will start the qualification for Eurobasket-2019 on November 11 with a guest match against the Albanian team. And on November 15 Russians in Moscow will meet with the Lithuanian national team.
