American guard Errick McCollum has become a player of Khimki. The contract with the 32-year-old player is for one season. Previously, McCollum played for UNICS Kazan, Turkish Galatasaray, Anadolu Efes.
“McCollum has a lot of experience, he played in Anadolu Efes and in UNICS very well. We really need a point guard, we have been looking for a player for this position all summer and eventually opted for Errik. He knows VTB United League and Euroleague well. A versatile player, he can score and pass himself. I think he will show his maximum with new teammates, “said Khimki head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis.
“Becoming a part of Khimki is an opportunity that I could not miss. The club traditionally already plays at the highest level, fighting only for top places. Cool coach, excellent organization. Our team has everything to qualify for the victory at the championship”, – noted McCollum.
