“CSKA-Junior” finished the performance in the regular season of the VTB United Youth League by home matches against “Samara-2”. CSKA for the first time in the season beat the Samarans in the first game and lost to them in the second. The team of Maxim Sharafan took the fifth place at the regular championships and in the first stage of the “Final eight” it will meet with the Kazan UNICS-2, which took the fourth place of the final standings.
In the games with Samarans, Andrei Lopatin was remarkable – he scored 15 points and made 9 rebounds in the first meeting and made double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds) in the second. In the second match, 18 points were scored by Alexander Ershov and 11 – by Vasiliy Posrednikov.
