UNICS guard Jamar Smith has been named the VTB United League March MVP.
Smith beat out CSKA guard Nando De Colo and Nizhny Novgorod forward Stevan Jelovac for the March MVP.
UNICS secured two big wins in March, taking down “Lokomotiv-Kuban” and “Khimki” to remain atop the League standings. Smith led the way on offense in both games, scoring 25 and 21 points, respectively.
Jamar Smith averaged 23.0 points (65.2% shooting, 71.4% from beyond the arc), 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and a 27.5 efficiency rating in March.
