Khimki won the Euroleague second round match against Basconia at home. The team from the Moscow region kicked off and already in the first quarter led with a difference of ten points – 27:17. In the second game period, Baskonia reduced the gap to four points – 39:43.
After a long break, the Spaniards forced Kurtinaitis’ players into a tight and competitive struggle, but Khimki managed to keep the win – 79:76.
Janis Timma scored 18 points for Khimki, and Devin Booker scored another 14 points.
