The Russian national team lost to the Czech Republic in the match of the qualifying tournament of the 2019 World Basketball Championship. The Russians started in the match a bit worse than the hosts, but they were able to even out the situation to a great break, even going forward by two points – 39:37.
The third quarter was an equal for both teams, and in the final quarter the Czechs were slightly stronger, they managed to win. The final score of the game is 80:78 in favor of the Czech national team.
